Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer
Dave Boennighausen has served as Chief Financial Officer since July 2012. Mr. Boennighausen has been with the Company since 2004, and served as the Vice President of Finance from October 2007 to March 2011, and as Executive Vice President of Finance from April 2011 to February 2012. He began his career with May Department Stores. He received a BS in Finance and Marketing from Truman State University and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Executive Vice President & General Counsel
Paul Strasen joined Noodles & Company in 2008 and oversees the company’s legal department and strategies, including developing and negotiating real estate leases and contracts, negotiating and drafting vendor contracts, handling employment-related legal issues, providing business legal advice, and managing the company’s securities transactions, franchise contracts and compliance, intellectual property and corporate governance needs.
Paul’s previous restaurant industry experience includes serving as general counsel for Einstein/Noah Bagel Corp., and then as general counsel of Houlihan’s Restaurants, Inc. Prior to that, Paul was a partner at a law firm for 14 years handling primarily corporate transactions and tax matters. He is a graduate of The University of Chicago Law School.
Chief Operations Officer
Victor Heutz joined Noodles & Company in 2016 and is responsible for leading the Company’s cross-functional teams in day-to-day operations, strategic planning and guest service. Previously, Mr. Heutz held the position of Vice President of US Franchise Operations at Buffalo Wild Wings, where he oversaw the company’s domestic franchise operations business unit. Prior to his role at Buffalo Wild Wings, he served as Vice President of Operations, Mid-Atlantic region at Starbucks Corporation from 2009 to 2015, where he was responsible for overseeing the direct operations of the region, and from 2005 to 2009, Mr. Heutz held the position of Vice President of Franchise Operations, Eastern USA for Cold Stone Creamery. He received an undergraduate degree from Long Island University and holds an MBA from Dowling University on Long Island.
