Marshall Fire Recovery

January 2022

Earlier this year, our home community of Boulder, Colo. was struck by tragedy when a wildfire broke out and caused significant damage to homes and businesses in the surrounding suburbs and neighborhoods. Many families lost their homes, belongings, and irreplaceable memories.

To help those in need, Noodles & Company held a “Marshall Fire Recovery” fundraising night for all Colorado-based locations in which 50% of sales were donated to the Community Foundation of Boulder County Wildfire Fund. From this, Noodles was able to raise and donate a total of $62,500, which would help those residents impacted by the Marshall Fire.

“Our home is your home, and we’re committed to supporting the Boulder County Wildfire Fund, an organization dedicated to helping those impacted by local fires, while ensuring that our restaurants can serve as a safe place for families and the community to come together,” said Dave Boennighausen, Noodles & Company CEO.

The Marshall Fire, having burned approximately 1,000 homes, is the most destructive fire in Colorado history. Nearly a year later, Noodles is still committed to Uncommon Goodness and providing aid to the families of this community. In November, Noodles donated 250 free catering cards to the families impacted to support them in bringing together families and loved ones for the holidays and Noodles will continue to stand by the community throughout its recovery.
